My name is Mel Caldwell. My friend Laura Blythe is a member of the Eastern Band of the Cherokee. Her hero is Alexandria Houchin and her birthday is May 3rd. Laura is a member of the Remember the Removal team where the Cherokee ride from Georgia to Oklahoma remembering their ancestors that walked the Trail of tears during the Indian removal.
