MTBCast TD11 – Russ McBride called in from Cuba — 1 Comment
Group dynamics is in itself a very contentious issue; especially when each person has their own agenda and some are wishing their efforts to be one on a group level. Clarification of the deepest feelings is part of an answer; of what each person’s agenda really is and has it changed as a result of what’s going on in their surroundings and what they are experiencing.
Just a thought thinking of people as they go through life here in Banff, Alberta my hometown; their brains get shaped in different ways; the brain making all decisions takes into account all new experiences thus the dynamics of group thinking is a major factor when thinking of the social aspect involving one or more people.
Then when leaving Banff the youth maturing factor is HUGE and thus pivotal in thinking forward, “What will I do with my life now?”
Travelling seems to be the hallmark way for seasonal workers to cope with worldly problems escape and interest are then coupled with adventure. THE TDR to me as I hear it …changes people too!
I LOVE IT ALL!
I have been studying neurobiological trigger mechanisms of the brain for 5 years now and accepted a honourary membership into the ISDN – International Society of Developmental Neuroscientist a few years back.
Sorry for such a long explanation. The reason above is why. LOVE you all!
***HOPE you have something to tell me when coming home from the Tour Divide Race.I can hardly wait to hear the stories!!!
Your Banff (START) fan and friend
Crazy Larry (led you with my bike/burly trailer) Remember?
