Often when I ask someone if they’ve heard the podcast they say, “But I don’t have an iPod.” The good news is, you don’t need an iPod to listen to podcasts. There are actually serveral ways you can still listen.
First, you can download iTunes for free and listen to all of the content that iTunes offers. Most of the podcasts they do offer are free! You can also setup iTunes to use mp3 files directly. You can even copy your iTunes library directory to your iRiver, Creative, or other mp3 player manually.
You can also listen by obtaining the mp3 files from the feed. By clicking on the RSS feed icon to the right, you can goto the HTML version of our feed and download the mp3 file. You can add this to your portable player or listen via Quicktime or Windows Media Player on your computer.
While you can obtain the files directly off the website, we encourage you to use the feed. This helps us collect statistics and lets us know you’re out there.
Let your friends know about MTBCast and if they don’t have an iPod, please let them know they can still listen any one of the ways mentioned above. Thanks for listening!
