MTBCast Exclusive: No Armstrong-Landis Showdown for Leadville 100

Back on July 13th Mountain Bike Magazine and Bicycling.com ran a story by David L’Heureux that Lance Armstrong would be racing Floyd Landis in the Leadville 100. Early on, as was reported on MTBCast, Lance had gotten into the race after his coach, Chris Carmichael, encouraged him to. Unfortunately a scheduling conflict pulled him out of the race.

The L’Heureux story purported that Lance cleared his schedule and was back in, however, citing information from Leadville organizer Ken Clouber. (more…)
